The survey found that nearly seve in 10workers (69 percent) say their companiesd are taking appropriate steps to weather currentr economic conditions. More than half (55 feel their employers will emerge from the recession strongethan before. Still, there is room for Some 30 percent of the respondents say theirr companies aredoing little, if anything, “Letting employees know how the companyu plans to persevere and grow also buildd confidence,” says Max Messmer, chiefd executive of Robert Half International. “Professionals who feel positives abouttheir firm’s prospects are more apt to stay on boards for the long term.
” The survey is based on telephonee interviews with 457 workers employed in an office California-based Robert Half (NYSE:RHI) marketsa staffing and risk-consulting services.
